June 1-3: GO RUCK Challenge
September 22-23: NorCal Tough Mudder
Ideally, CCF/CFGI want to be represented by a couple of teams/groups per event. For the Tough Mudder there will be at least two teams: a beginner team & a competitive team.
Beginner team: Committed group of fit folks who desire to experience the challenge and whose goal is to finish the event. Members of this team are expected to commit to a significant training regimen and team functions.
Competitive team: Committed group of fit folks who are looking to excel at this event. Members of this team are expected to commit to a rigorous training regimen and team functions. Members of this team are already able to run a minimum of 6 miles continuously.
Those interested should let me know which event they are interested in and if interested in the Tough Mudder event at what level/team (beginner or competitive) by January 30, 2012. Once we have received confirmation of participants THEN we will register as a group (there are no open CCF/CFGI team registration at this time, so please wait before you register).
Depending on level of interest we might combine forces with other local CrossFit Gyms.
